Shepard Eye Center to Provide Free Surgery for Patients

Shepard Eye Center  has been providing the finest quality eye care in Santa Maria  since 1967. Their service will be different, however, for the week prior to Valentine’s Day because of one of the clinic’s major philanthropic programs called “Doctors with a Heart.” 

For the week of February 7, the doctors will donate their time and talents to provide indigent patients with important and necessary surgeries free of charge. Every year during this week, the surgeons perform procedures including cataract surgeries, retinal surgeries, and pterygium removals at absolutely no cost to the patient.

Always active in the local community, Shepard Eye Center’s doctors feel a responsibility to help those patients who are unable to provide themselves and their families with vision-saving surgeries and treatments.
