California-Certified in Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease
Dr. Ken Kendall has been in private optometric practice in Lompoc since 1990. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocular Science and earned his doctorate of optometry at the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, where he wa also class president. As part of his professional training, Dr. Kendall completed his clinical externship at the Department of the Navy’s Naval Hospital, Camp Pendleton, California. A perpetual student of the leading edge of today’s vision care, he also completed the vigorous training and examination process to become California-certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease.
In 2004, Dr. Kendall merged his practice with Shepard Eye Center to become CEO of the Eye Care Group. Besides his management of these eye centers, Dr. Kendall has an active life with his wife and children. His interests include playing basketball and regularly leading the worship music at his church, where he sings and plays the keyboard. He enjoys the beauty of the Central Coast and loves taking drives on Highway 1.
Dr. Kendall is a Medicare provider and a member of both the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
