Sam Moore, OD
Dr. Sam Moore earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of California at Berkeley. He has been in practice since 1994. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Animal Physiology from the University of California at San Diego. As part of his training for optometry, Dr. Moore completed his clinical externship at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Hospital in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Dr. Moore received the award for Outstanding Clinician in Vision Functions Clinic at the U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry for his work in electro-diagnostic testing of complex ocular conditions.
Dr. Moore is married and has one son. His family enjoys the Central Coast by camping at the many coastal and lakeside campsites. Dr. Moore enjoys surfing, windsurfing, kite-boarding, mountain biking, and playing tennis. He is also a webmaster and created www.hbsracks.com, an online business that manufactures display racks for surfboards and skateboards. The racks are marketed and sold to surf shops, hotels and large companies such as Quiksilver, Surf-Tech and Bic Corporation.
