New Refractive Coordinator

Shepard Eye Center recently announced the addition of their new refractive coordinator, Malin Heaton. Malin specializes in counseling patients to help them find the ideal custom vision correction to suit their needs. Vision correction options include custom LASIK, implantable lenses (ICL), and multifocal implants. She offers personalized, one-on-one counseling to Shepard Eye Center’s valued patients and also assists them in determining the right payment plan to accommodate their budgets. Shepard Eye Center to Provide Free Surgery for Patients
Shepard Eye Center has been providing the finest quality eye care in Santa Maria since 1967. Their service will be different, however, for the week prior to Valentine’s Day because of one of the clinic’s major philanthropic programs called "Doctors with a Heart."
For the week of February 9, the doctors will donate their time and talents to provide indigent patients with important and necessary surgeries free of charge. Every year during this week, the surgeons perform procedures including cataract surgeries, retinal surgeries, and pterygium removals at absolutely no cost to the patient.
Always active in the local community, Shepard Eye Center’s doctors feel a responsibility to help those patients who are unable to provide themselves and their families with vision-saving surgeries and treatments.
